Intel CEO Brian Krzanich announced during a meeting with President Donald Trump that Intel Corp., the world's largest computer chip manufacturer, plans to invest $7 billion in the completion of a high-volume factory in Chandler, Arizona known as Fab 42. It will take approximately 3 to 4 years to complete and will create 3,000 high-wage engineering jobs. Fab 42 is expected to create more than 10,000 long term jobs in Arizona combined with the indirect impact on businesses that will support the factory's operations. Intel employs about 50,000 people in the United States and 106,000 worldwide.
