The nonprofit destination marketing organization is now called Experience Scottsdale. It has been known for three nearly decades as the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Tourism is one of Scottsdale’s leading industries, generating nearly $16 million in bed-tax revenue annually.
Scottsdale has about 9,000 resort and hotel rooms and Paradise Valley has another 1,700 rooms with more under construction.
Experience Scottsdale is kick-starting its brand with a new advertising campaign that it calls Absolutely Scottsdale.
The ad campaign will appear in print publications and in select TV markets. It was shot and filmed at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, W Scottsdale and on trails in Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
